The contract work included the removal of 18 existing butterfly valve and actuator assemblies from Train 2, while Train 1 is in operation. Then, the Installation of 18 County furnished valves and actuators. The removed valves and actuators assemblies were crated and delivered to King County for refurbishing. The valve removal and replacement activity had to be completed within a 5-day window.
